i called for the first time and talked to the owner (melissa?? i think) she was VERY rude to me on the phone and had an attitude with answering my questions. I decided to go ahead and take my toy poo there and she turned out looking great! But I did NOT like the way I heard the owner talking to the receptionist!! I heard her cussing at the poor girl and that's just not appropriate at work!! Good groomers but the owner needs to go!

I have quite a few animals that I have taken up there for boarding and for grooming and every time I call they staff knows me by name and who my dogs are! They are always happy to see us when we walk in and they have even squezed us in for boarding at the last minute during christmas when the realy couldnt take anymore! The manager up there has been there for some time now and is the nicest person there! And as far as the staff in the back go...... they treat my dogs like they are there own dogs! No matter how busy it is back there it ALWAYS smells good and feals GREAT when you walk back there!! I have never been disapointed when I go to pick up my animals from there. I would NEVER take my animals ANY PLACE ELSE!!!!!!!!!!! And as far as a rodent problem?!?! How would anyone know about what they have going on there unless they use to work up there? That just sounds like a ticked off ex employee trying to cause trouble!!

My family takes 2 dogs to Camp Wagalot for grooming. One is a cockapoo and I know from experience in grooming her that she can be troublesome. The previous groomer was never able to shave her face because she would not hold still. The staff here does a wonderful job at getting Mercedes' haircut right. The other dog is my chow mix that is grumpy and I can't touch her feet without her snapping at me. When she comes home, she is always shaved down perfectly, and her nails are cut, and so is the hair on her feet. They always give her a A+ report card and say they have no problems with her. The cat condos in the lobby hold cats that are available for adoption through a rescue group and Camp Wagalot offers discount services to the local animal shelter. The staff is friendly, and caring, and try to get to know their clients and their pets on a personal basis. I would recommend this grooming shop to ANYONE who has a dog or cat needing to be groomed.

that negative review is bogus . i love the way they know my two dogs and my cat. my animals are always happy and relaxed when i pick them up. i found the staff to be extremely courteous and well informed. it is obvious they are all animal lovers. by the way, i checked with the local veterinarians, and camp wagalot came highly recommended.

Wouldn't recommend ever going there. Even my vet says the same. I've known of 3 dog deaths from boarding. The dogs were left in the heat too long. The kennel workers know very little on the care of animals nor do they know what danger signs to look for. If the dogs bark too much they are squirted w/water. The cats that board are kept in a totally dark room. As for the grooming dept. I know the dogs are slapped many times for minor reasons. Also, there is a BIG problem w/rats!
